We did the hop on tour and the trip to NASA as a package for $80. Mike was our tour driver and he was great. He gave me lots of fun facts that I was happy to share with anyone who would listen to me. I would recommend setting up this with the NASA trip to anyone. Great way to spend the day. Oh and our driver, whoā€™s name I canā€™t remember (sorry about your $1) was great to NASA.

On the advertised pictures it shows a bus with a screened roof and another picture of a double decker bus and we thought it would be a great way to see some of the sights in Houston. Should the sun be too much, we would have the option to go inside the bus and away from the sun. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The tour bus was an open air bus with no downstairs to take refuge in and the other bus with the screened roof was not available. Literally, we were 'baking' in the hot sun. Within 10 minutes we had to turn back because the sun was unbearable. In addition, at this time, there aren't any disclaimers on their site mentioning the lack of shade; had they stated that fact we would have known what to expect. Save your money and do not take this tour.

My experience of the tour: 1. Surprised to learn that they only have 2 tours a day in the morning. They only have the evening tour on Friday and Saturday. Need to advertise clearly the times of the tour and when you would need to buy the tickets and how many seats you have left so that people don't go all the way to the Tourist Center to find out they missed the tour. Should have more tour buses and more tour times a day. 2. Because they only have 2 tours a day and 2 buses, they pack the bus as much as they can. 3. Turns out, it is not a hop-on, hop-off tour. The only stop we had was at the George Bush statue. Would be good to have more hop-off spots. 4. The guide was good and knowledgeable. 5. Hard to take pictures of the outside as there was no upper deck and the bus kept moving. Overall, it is a good way to learn about the city, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

Thank you so much for your comments and review. Houston sometimes offers a different experience in tour frequency due the city size ( 600 sq. miles ) foot traffic & hot weather, for this reason we run only 3 loops avery day 7 days a week .And evening tours to avoid the Texas heat. Is great to know that you mention that our tour was good and knowledgeable, and we look forward to continue adding more services and frequency.
