We took a cruise on a beautiful Summer Saturday. The staff is incredibly pleasant and are always there to help and answer any questions. The trip was two hours which was perfect. The scenery was very interesting and all the way you are told about historic mansions and stories about the Hudson. The two minor down points were that the benches were wooden and a little uncomfortable as I am a senior, so bring your own pillows. There are tables and chairs that we did not use that are much better. The other is what the Captain was saying on the speakers was a little unclear at times. Good food and a bar is available. A fun trip for any age. Fair pricing. A great day that you will remember many times in the future. Oh, take a camera! Lots to see.......

Having grown up on the Hudson and having taken various other tours on it in my lifetime in various different areas from Manhattan to Newburgh to Albany, I guess perhaps this sort of calmed any excitement for me - been there, done that. But I wanted to add the lighthouses to the vast lighthouse photographic collection I have, so we went. For anyone who doesn't know the river or the area, it's a great way to be introduced to it, and I did see things I had never seen before (or, from a different vantage point). It is a worthwhile activity and paired with a visit to the Maritime Museum next door and dinner in the waterfront area, makes for a good day trip.

We did a tour for my dad's birthday and it just happened to be a bit rainy that day but it did make for a different experience. Some fog on the water created a different look in the landscape and greens popped brighter against the dark sky. It was still an enjoyable trip. It's not too expensive and they have items for purchase on board like drinks, snacks, hotdogs, hamburgers and a full bar. The captain discusses the various sites on the shoreline as you cruise along and on this trip we passed two lighthouses. It's a 2 hour trip.
