I deeply recommend this trip. The crew welcomes us and takes care of our baby. The comments were very clear and understandable for a french family. We learned a lot about the local history of the Hudson valley. I would like to come back soon.

Being from the area never seen this area of the Hudson from a boat. Stumbled across the Rip Van Cruise boat and figured it would make a great day trip. This was truly a great way to see the Hudson views and the surrounding areas. The boat is clean and all who work the cruise are kind, courteous, very knowledgeable and make the trip perfect. We passed the Kingston light house on our way out and in and 2nd. lighthouse we seen was the Esopus. Bonus was the captain had spotted a bald eagle and it's mate in a tree so he throttled down the engine and gave us a great vantage point to view these gorgeous birds! Ever in the area check this cruise out and take in the lovely Kingston water front as well.

I took my mother on a sightseeing river cruise up the Hudson. It was a nice, relaxing day. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable about the local architecture and river. We saw lighthouses, mansions, an eagles nest and beautiful scenery. The captain had a lot of info about the river. You couldn't see a lot of the mansions very well (they were far away and covered by trees), but it was still a nice relaxing time. Would do it again.
