This cruise was two hours long and it was narrated!! We were on the 2 pm cruise and it was not crowded. A photographer takes your picture before getting on and then takes random photos during the cruise. These photos are placed on a TV screens and it loops thru them. You have the option of purchasing the photos as well. Seeing two uninhabited lighthouses was surprise as well as a photo opportunity. Hearing about the millionaires and their mansions made me want to visit those places also. Enjoyable.

This cruise leaves out of a very charming town, Kingston NY. Kingston is a hidden gem as far as I'm concerned. I have spent a lot of time at towns like Hudson & Rhinebeck, and was pleasantly surprised to find an equally charming town. The cruise left on time, friendly crew, and for about 2 hours you will enjoy some of the most scenic views NY has to offer. I highly recommend this to anyone and kids will love it too.

The two hour cruise down to Hudson River made one think about what the early explorers thought when they cruised into this part of the new world. The wide river expanse with the rocky shoreline must have left them awe stricken. Apparently there were about 10,000 Native Americans in this region when we arrived only to bring them disease. Beautiful views of the Hudson River area where you will see Mansions perched on the hillsides. Wouldn't have missed this trip for anything.
