The boat has a lower enclosed deck, a middle deck which is a shaded but otherwise open are, and an open air upper deck with bench seating.
A fully stocked bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and a snack bar with light fare such as hot dogs & fresh popped popcorn is available on the lower main deck at your own expense.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed on board the boat
There is plenty of seating on the boat, both inside and on the upper deck, which consists mainly of bench-style seating; the main lower deck has chairs; seating is on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early if you’d like to sit in a particular area of the boat

Aboard the Rip Van Winkle we had everything we could've asked for, bathroom, drinks, beautiful scenery, a calm Hudson, and sunny skies! I took my mom on this afternoon cruise down the Hudson which left out of Kingston. If driving yourself, be sure to bring coins for parking. The machines are "older" and do not accept credit cards. Once aboard the ship, you will see two lighthouses, and several 'important' buildings/mansions. Bring a camera, sunglasses, binoculars (for a common bald eagle sighting), and comfy shoes. This is a great cruise for all ages, especially seniors. It is slow moving, informative, and just the perfect way to see NY!

A relaxing boat ride along the beautiful shoreline of the Hudson Valley. It was narrated with interesting historical facts and a views of the many mansions that line the route. The boat leaves from the waterfront area of Kingston.There is an open upper deck with benches and a middle deck with table/chairs and where the concession stand is. There are many restaurants to choose from to eat before or after, which makes for a nice day out.The staff was wonderful and accomodating.

The Hudson Valley Cruise was amazing! The staff was very helpful & nice. They engaged with all the passengers with great spirits. Would definitely do it again. I put s group of us together to go & all 12 enjoyed themselves.
