Overview

This is the only tour in New York City that lets guests experience and taste hundreds of years of New York City's history. Not only do we tell the story of the immigrants in New York, we taste their iconic foods that they brought to the City from their home country's. What starts out eating the distinct foods of different cultures crescendos into tasting New York's unique cuisine.

We can accommodate vegetarians, but please reach out for other food preferences. We'll do our best to accommodate everyone.

You'll eat FIVE of New York's most iconic foods at the best places in the Lower East Side. As you eat, you'll experience how immigrants and their food started as separate groups, but came together to become New Yorkers... and New York cuisine!

No trip to New York City is complete with taking the Iconic Foods of New York Lower East Side Walking Tour. Truly an amazing experience! Not only was the food OUTSTANDING, the tour itself provided view in NYC that we would have NEVER gotten on our own. I wish I could have taken this tour 5 times. It was, simply put, the BEST thing we did and we have told everyone about it. A day in NEw York City is not complete without taking this tour. 5 of 5 stars.

This was the highlight of our trip! Not only did we eat all of New York's iconic foods (NY Pizza, Bagels, etc), we learned about how the foods evolved to create New York cuisine! We did this all by walking through the historically immigrant neighborhood of the Lower East Side. Not only was the food AMAZING, Scott was an incredible host. His knowledge of the city and food, friendliness, and accommodations were first class. This is a MUST DO on your next trip!
