Gold, Gold, Gold! Alaska is known for oil and gold. Our guides are familiar with gold panning and the man who first discovered gold in July 1902, starting the Fairbanks Gold Rush. This monument is one of many treasures we are happy to share whenever possible with guests. Please remember we go where the clear skies are and not all guests have the same locations to visit. If you want to learn about Alaskan History, ask our wonderful guides who are happy to share both personal and historical facts and stories.

Alyeska Pipeline Viewing Point
Here at Aurora in Alaska we go to the best cloud free location each night. One of our favorites stops along the way is the awe-inspiring and historical Alyeska Pipeline. Whenever possible our guides happily share our Alaskan history with oil and take guests up close and personal to the pipeline.

Mike and Andre were awesome. They did everything they could to make sure we saw the lights (which we did). Right before we were loading up to head back the lights got bigger and brighter and they had no problem hanging out longer and busting the camera back out for us. This is a must

This was a bucket list item for my 86 year-old mom and I, and it did not disappoint. She was a real trooper despite the very cold temperatures (1 Degree). The fire and warming vans were a welcome respite for us. A beautiful natural wonder in the 49th... Thank you for a great time!

It was an amazing experience. Our guide was friendly and had so much knowledge about everything. Even though weather was very cold they gave fire and beverages kept us warm. The guide also kept the shuttle running with heater on throughout so if we were very cold we would go and sit in shuttle. We were able to see some spectacular auroras. Worth the money!
