Overview

Seeing the Sonoran Desert via your own two feet can be very intimate. How often do you get to stand right next to a Saguaro Cactus? Have you ever tried a taste of Cholla Cactus? Did you know there are so many edible plants in our Sonoran Desert?

Our guides can put together a hiking adventure in the Sonoran Desert to fit your vision. From a casual stroll to strenuous, rugged terrain—we have you covered. Have your dog along? We welcome them to join the hike as long as they are leashed.

Want to do a family hike? We can put together hikes that include education and get those little legs moving. If you plan to hike a half day with us plan for three hours of hiking. Our guides will carry water, snacks, sunscreen and first aid essentials.

Piestewa Peak

You will view one of the most recognized summit peaks in Phoenix however it is not a part of this hike.

Amazing tour! Our tour guide Kim went above and beyond to make this a memorable tour for myself and my children. She was knowledgeable of all the surrounding area and ready to answer all our questions. She came completely prepared with all gear including all the extra water and snacks we needed. It was such a personal experience that by the end Kim was like family. This is a do not miss experience!

Our group of 5 women,(all family, age range 32-63) had a blast with Matt and Don from Wild Bunch. We stayed at The Boulders and Laurel did a great job picking 2 trailheads within 15minutes drive-time of our resort. We did a morning half day hike followed by a 2 hour sunset mountain bike ride the following day. Both guides were very knowledgeable of the desert surroundings. We learned a lot and felt safe the entire time. The booking process was smooth, as well as the follow-up for where to meet etc. Provided snacks, backpacks, water etc. Really enjoyed the challenge and appreciated that on each tour, the guide made sure to confirm our comfort levels and abilities along the way. Highly recommend! Will book again if ever in the Scottsdale area

Great hike! Kim was an awesome guide. Water and snacks were provided in a small backpack to carry. Kim was patient and allowed for many rest stops. We didn't feel rushed. Many breathtaking views, and information about local vegetation.
