Overview

The Melting Point is a new, state-of-the-art facility featuring a fine art gallery, a lamp working studio and fully equipped hotshop. We eat, sleep, and breath glass, and it's our delight to share this passion with the community. Our staff is as diverse as the beautiful Sedona desert landscape. Coming from a broad range of educational backgrounds, our glassblowers can tell you everything you would ever want to know about the science and art of glass.

Chris was a lot of fun to work with, my husband did a sucky bowl & us girls did flowers. Totally different projects & we learned so much. Of course Chris did the very technical stuff but we got to do a lot & the projects are definitely unique to each of us. We had an awesome time & my girlfriends are coming next month & will be doing it too!

Chris, our teacher was very nice. Loved this class. Would do it again and again. It was just a class with my partner and I, watch was great. We had Chris’s full attention. He helped us make beautiful glass flowers. I can’t say enough, this was a wonderful experience. If you can do it tomorrow, I would say book it now.

This experience was the highlight of our vacation! Alexa Rose was our instructor and she was amazing, safety was always at the forefront. She taught us so many techniques, our family of three made three different items so there were many different tools and techniques. We left Sedona with great memories and wonderful souvenirs. The shop is filled with amazing glass art pieces, great for gift giving or yourself. We are already planning on coming back, this was just a fantastic class!
