Overview

The Melting Point is a new, state-of-the-art facility featuring a fine art gallery, a lamp working studio and fully equipped hotshop. We eat, sleep, and breath glass, and it's our delight to share this passion with the community. Our staff is as diverse as the beautiful Sedona desert landscape. Coming from a broad range of educational backgrounds, our glassblowers can tell you everything you would ever want to know about the science and art of glass.

We had a fabulous time making glass flowers. Chris was super patient and a great teacher. This was a great family experience especially with our tweens/teens. Jordan kindly sent us a picture of the finished products because we won’t receive them in the mail until after our trip. This was a great hour of entertainment in Sedona and topped off a great day of enjoying art and hiking In this beautiful corner of the world.

Chris was the coolest person to have as a teacher because of his knowledge, personality, and connection to people. We had an amazing time and experience making a flower and two paper weights. We learned, laughed, and created masterpieces. Thank you Chris. We will see you soon.
