Overview

The Melting Point is a new, state-of-the-art facility featuring a fine art gallery, a lamp working studio and fully equipped hotshop. We eat, sleep, and breath glass, and it's our delight to share this passion with the community. Our staff is as diverse as the beautiful Sedona desert landscape. Coming from a broad range of educational backgrounds, our glassblowers can tell you everything you would ever want to know about the science and art of glass.

We were really excited to try working with glass and the entire experience exceeded our expectations in every way. I was sure I would only be able to make "a lump", but with terrific instructions and expert assistance by Austin and Jason we made our own glassware and had a blast doing so. The best souvenirs ever! My advice to others is leave a little time. While it says it's a 1-hour class, we took the class with 3 other couples and we were there for 3 hours. What a great afternoon. Can't recommend enough.

The make-your-own glass flower class with Jordan was interesting and fun. We came away with a beautiful souvenir of a fun weekend, and gained an appreciation for the artistry and the process of glass-blowing. Highly recommended!
