Out group of six (4 adults + 13 and 16 year olds) did the introductory half day ride at the courthouse loop. It was everything I had hoped it would be after reading the reviews. None of us had been mountain biking before, but our guide did a great job of showing us the ropes. The course starts easy enough, and gets harder along the way. Definitely a great workout! The bikes they use are fantastic -- excellent shocks, brakes, and controls. All six of us had a fantastic experience and although this was "introductory", felt like the "real deal" mountain biking. Would definitely recommend!

My fiance and I ride our MTB pretty often and on some technical trails, but my 13 year old sons are not as experienced as we are. Brooks and Jeff were great guides for this half-day ride. They not only gave us pointers and suggestions on how to handle bumps, hills, rocks and sand, but they also let some of the experienced riders ride up ahead and "play" while the beginners followed. The guides were very patient and encouraging with riders of all ages. The scenery on the Courthouse Loop was gorgeous. We will definitely be coming back and trying out the Deadhorse trail!

Our family of four wanted a fun outing in addition to hiking and sight-seeing, and so glad we did the Courthouse Loop 1/2 day ride with Rim Tours. Bill and Russ were the guides and they were excellent - personable, helpful, and set the right tone. Bill provided a short but very good set of instruction and guidance, and even for me, an experienced road rider, I found it very helpful, as did my wife, a mountain bike novice. With two guides we were able to split into two groups to accommodate different levels of skill and fitness. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bikes they provide. Letting them handle picking out the route and providing the bikes was worth it.
