All guests must check-in at 5:30 pm at the Aloali'i Cultural Resource Center, located in the lobby of the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel, on the day of the luau, to exchange their mobile or paper ticket for their entry wristbands.

The luau is held in a beautiful oceanfront setting near the historic Kamakahonu Bay. Guests of the Island Breeze Luau will enjoy a backdrop of passing boats, outrigger canoes, Mt Hualalai and the twinkling lights of Kona.

The show was excellent as was the venue. The food however was pretty awful. The rolls were hard as bricks, beef was too hard/ tough to cut and dry, rice with creamed spinach was weird, dessert was literally one bite per plate. The salad was only lettuce with no other vegetables. Honestly, our family went out afterward to eat because we were still hungry. Then they sell you photos of your group at very high prices but not available digitally. Really?

The food was ok, but because of weather we only received hour show instead of two. Could of had us moved and wait out rain and then continue the rest of the show

Interesting Hawai’i luau- food was good and plentiful. The setting was lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful. It started raining as the show began and they distributed rain ponchos. The dancing was lovely but it seemed a little short for the price however they may have ended early because of the rain.
