Overview

The 8 mile whitewater stretch through the Snake River Canyon takes you through mix of calm sections where you'll be able to take in the scenery and wildlife, and exciting rapids. On this smaller 8 man raft your paddling skills will be put to the test as your guide leads you into the big waves of Kahuna and Lunch Counter, so be prepared to paddle hard and have a blast getting soaked!
Guests 16 and over will be charged a $3 Bridger Teton National Forest User fee at check in.

You will be getting soaked on this trip. So wear items of clothes that are not made of cotton, synthetic clothes are best!

We are pretty confident that this 8-mile stretch of whitewater has the highest concentration of laughter in the state of Wyoming. With class II and III rapids such as The Lunch counter and The Big Kahuna, and even an underwater waterfall aptly named Champagne, this river will thrill and delight you. And with inspiring limestone cliffs, hills of Lodge pole Pine, and the mountain peak horizon of the Grey’s National Forest, the scenery will surely impress you. This is the moment in your vacation that you’ll write home to grandma about—that is, if she’s not already in the boat with you!

I found this group on trip advisor . They are a well organized outfit very focused on safety . The front desk people were awesome and the guides, bus driver all terrific. I was nervous but the guide Brooks was terrific. There are many outfits in Jackson hole to choose from and we saw them on the river I think Dave Hansen’s boats looked sturdier and the guides all were great. Note :wear a bathing suit with quick dry clothes over it. You do not need to bring anything with you. You will get wet. The only negative I would say was at the end there was a long wait time while we waited fo people to change clothes afterwards . Wish they wouldn’t allow that to happen .

Great day startinh with George our bus driver. Full of fun wildlife facts and very entertaining. Jordan our raft guide was excellent and we saw Bald Eagles and an Osprey on the way down. A great experience thank you.

Great experience all around. We had a great trip in the smaller boat with Alex as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and probably one of the best guides we have ever had on an excursion. Booking was fast and easy. Our only complaint was that the trip went by too fast. A must do if you are visiting the Jackson area.
