The Yorktown Revolutionary Museum was so educational. We really loved it. The Old Jamestown Settlement was worth the visit. However, after getting our tickets at Yorktown and the sticker to wear one lady at Jamestown Settlement was extremely rude and really awful and mean. She was an older ( kinda overweight) African American. I really wanted to tell her how she came across to us but we didn’t. People like her should not be working with the public. She gave me the same sticker to wear I was already wearing. Rudest person we came across in visiting the area. She spoiled our memories in this area for sure.

This is a perfect opportunity to learn about early Virginia history, and the interplay of cultures. Who doesn't love a fort with people performing 17th century tasks, an Indian encampment and three ships?

The Jamestown tour was informative and instrumental in providing relevant information into the start and rise of the USA as a sovereign nation. To see the place where the final separation from England occurred, to be able to walk the streets where the war took place, to see a real live sugar pan that was used to boil sugar, to see statues of my foreparents working in the forging house was so surreal to the point it brought tears ro my eyes. Thanks for sharing this opportunity with me. I truly enjoyed it.
