This is a recreation of the Jamestown Settlement with accurate displays of the fort and Indian village. The area had good hands on displays but what my grandchildren really enjoyed were the three replica ships that the settlers would have used to cross the ocean with volunteers in period dress to answer questions. The museum and displays were very nice

My children ages 11 and 9 found this very boring. While I do think it’s important to be exposed to our country’s history— it was definitely not worth the aggravation of “making” the kids walk through. I would not do it again. It was also overpriced.

The museums and interactive, hand-on settlement were amazing. It was so easy to visualize how things would have been and how hard life was at Jametown. It makes history come to life!
