JUST the right size! Museum & recreated fort, village, & ships, the greatness here is the staff and grounds, stroll through recreated history, interactive as you please, clean facilities, excellent cafe with fair prices and very good food choices, gift shops with fair prices and variety, my 11 year old son and I spent noon until closing (5)- took our time, enjoyed the short movies, it’s really a wonderful visit through history, my son surprised me by wanting to visit Historic Jamestown, the ACTUAL site which we will do soon. Out passes which were reasonably priced includes the Revolutionary Museum and seven days of return visits.

I spent the day.at the American Revolution Museum.because I lam a history enthusiast. .the galleries are impressive with time lines documenting the Revolution, interactive kiosks throughout and movies to supplement the vast history lessons here with intriguing exhibitions even the role slaves in the war and their contribution that helped to end the war. George Washington gets his due as does Lafayette and other patriots as well as what happened to Loyalists at the end of the war.. This is a gigantic history lesson for both adult. ,teenagers and young children. There is a restaurant with typical fare, sandwiches, burgers, salads etc. Reasonable, too

B ooked my tickets before the visit but did not realize that these two institutions are on opposite ends of the Williamsburg map!😡After the truly wonderful and recommendable trip to Jamestown there wS no way to get to the Museum due to time limitations and we were exhausted... So some money was wasted... (consider it a donation...)
