I spent a wonderful day 5/17/2021 at Jamestown.
Leaving the park, Volvo 2016 S60 I look in my mirror to find a policeman blinking his
lights. He informed me I was going 55mi./hr. in a 35mim zone.
That road a single road goes from 45mi./hr. to 35mi/hr. A residential upscale neighborhood. I was following the traffic. He slapped me with of fine of well over $300. I was told when I got back to my hotel that that road is notorious for tickets.
Police hide behind the houses on the side streets. Therefore I want to alert the public when driving to Jamestown from Williamsburg be careful of the only road and your speed going to the park. It is only one road. Why does the speed change from 45mi/hr. to 35mi/hr. Could it be the wealthy residents in that area have clout?
