We drive down Kings Point Dr and happened upon this historic site and went all over. The landings spots, the brewery back there and water sports . This is a must see!

Our family of 16 ( 9 adults and 7 children) loved Jamestown. The Powhatan village, fort and especially the ship were all of interest to even the youngest child. The museum was huge and well laid out. The special exhibit: TENACITY: Women in Jamestown and Early Virginia was so very interesting. The museum building houses several nice gift shops as well as a cafeteria style restaurant. The food was reasonable and very good. Parking was ample and free. Definitely recommend visiting.

We didn't have the 7 day pass but went to the Jamestown Settlement and the museum and were so impressed with both of these sites. We toured the recreation of the Settlement and talked to some of the people who were so informed about what life must have been like back then and how the settlement came to be. We also toured the three replica ships that original settlers came over from England on. You have to say to yourself: These people endured so much both in their trip to Jamestown and then when they arrived, that their freedom from English rule must have been so important to suffer through what they did. And here we are today...visit here and be grateful for all they sacrificed.
