Expensive for wgat you get to see. A lot of replicas. Where is the real stuff? Just a reenactment of history and nothing real.

Wow! I wish I had the full 7 days to explore both Jamestown and Yorktown. We booked this to so the last day of our Williamsburg vacation. I was shocked how close the two museums were to Williamsburg and to each other. At Yorktown, we spent our time inside, engrossed in the exhibits and short films. We didn’t have time to explore the outside since we split our time between the two exhibits. So at Jamestown, we went to the outside exhibits first, and I was so glad we did. There were crops to see and an Indian to speak to. There were three ships on which we could board and explore. There were outdoor colonial games that my children played with a Jamestown village to explore. The indoor exhibits were great as well. And, of course, I visited the gift shops at both locations. The selection at Jamestown was larger, but I enjoyed both shops.

The staff was excellent and very informative. The grounds were beautiful. A herd of deer was roaming the property which was a fun experience for our grandson.
