Excellent experience. Worth your time. Better if you really are interested in history. Younger kids probably won’t like it as much but history inclined teens will enjoy.

It's only a good reproduction of the real Jamestowne* 1607, but excellent museum, gift shops, a nice cafe & a short walking tour to an Indian village interpreting their life, two authentic ships docked with 17th century-looking crew members near the ferries on the pretty James River. Finish the walk at the fort, where blacksmiths, cooks, and a musket demonstration complete the experience. All great fun! *The real Jamestowne is a short distance along the parkway with thousands of architectural finds and a glass-making exhibit/shop. Find out if colonists ate the dead to survive harsh winters!

Ships at Jamestown were impressive, in the water and everything! Surprised at how small they were. Hard to believe they made it across the Atlantic.
