What To Expect

Joshua Tree National Park

Our shuttle van will take you to the city of Joshua Tree where we trade for our H-1 Military Hummer to complete your adventure. We climb to the top of a breathtaking overlook called Eureka Peak that will give you a stunning view of the valley below and a view that stretches all the way to Mexico.

Big Morongo Canyon Preserve

Nestled among the Little San Bernardino Mountains in the Sand to Snow National Monument, the desert oasis at Big Morongo Canyon is one of the 10 largest cottonwood and willow riparian habitats in California. The upstream end of the canyon lies in the Mojave Desert, while its downstream portion opens into the Colorado Desert. There are numerous trails to walk and hike, including a wheelchair-accessible boardwalk through the marsh and riparian habitats. At 31,000 acres with elevations ranging from 600 feet on the canyon floor to 3000 feet at the top of the ridge, this diverse landscape has been an important part of the Morongo Basin’s natural and cultural history for almost two billion years.

This tour was the highlight of our spring break vacation for me, my husband and our 13 y.o. son. Our guide, Jeff, was both knowledgeable and entertaining. His commentary paired a dash of U.S. history and geology with a nice dose of adventure. And the carefully curated playlist really added a fun element to the tour as we climbed and careened through the gorgeous landscape of Joshua Tree National Park. The tour company really thought of everything to keep everyone comfortable and the plush blankets provided were greatly appreciated by this NJ native who underestimated just how chilly the desert nights can get! I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting the Palm Desert area.

My mum and I had the absolute pleasure of spending an afternoon in Joshua Tree National Park with the very lovely and knowledgeable Justin. He was absolutely fantastic- we learnt so much and got to experience this magical place. I would highly recommend this company - they were accommodating and very much great value for money. Thank you!
