What To Expect

Joshua Tree National Park

Our shuttle van will take you to the city of Joshua Tree where we trade for our H-1 Military Hummer to complete your adventure. We climb to the top of a breathtaking overlook called Eureka Peak that will give you a stunning view of the valley below and a view that stretches all the way to Mexico.

Big Morongo Canyon Preserve

Nestled among the Little San Bernardino Mountains in the Sand to Snow National Monument, the desert oasis at Big Morongo Canyon is one of the 10 largest cottonwood and willow riparian habitats in California. The upstream end of the canyon lies in the Mojave Desert, while its downstream portion opens into the Colorado Desert. There are numerous trails to walk and hike, including a wheelchair-accessible boardwalk through the marsh and riparian habitats. At 31,000 acres with elevations ranging from 600 feet on the canyon floor to 3000 feet at the top of the ridge, this diverse landscape has been an important part of the Morongo Basin’s natural and cultural history for almost two billion years.

We had the best time! Gary was such an amazing tour guide- he had s us cracking up and also was very knowledgeable! We learned so much and he made the whole tour so fun! I highly recommend the Joshua tree excursion with Gary! Plus we couldn’t have gone on a more better day - the weather was great! The HumV is surprisingly very comfortable too!

We had a limited amount of time in Joshua Tree and taking this trip was a very fun way to see the most of the different systems present in the park without worrying about the details and trying to decide what to tackle ourselves.

Absolutely worth your time, great driver, friendly and informative. Know the weather, as you climb the temperature drops and the wind picks up...glad the driver had blankets for all. Beautiful vistas, many stops for photography and phots you will want to take
