We were in a van instead of a bus as advertised. The guide did not wear a face mask in the van (which was packed and had the windows shut). We did not have the option to go on a hike as the listing advised. In fact we were outside of the van for a grand total of maybe 30 minutes, most of which was bathroom breaks. Visitor center on the itinerary was also skipped. We drove through the entire park from one entrance out the other. We made "photo op" stops at several random rock formations which was not what I came to Joshua Tree National Park to see. We weren't even able to see joshua trees up close -- it was all through the window of a moving car. Guide advertised that we'd see all the highlights, and condense what other people see in a weekend into 5 hours. I left the tour feeling like we barely saw anything. Not sure why this was $200 per person -- should have been no more than $100-120.

Hello Stacy, I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your tour. We do conduct the tour in enclosed vehicles but not necessarily a bus unless we get a large group. Our guides will wear masks upon request but in order to be understood while narrating the default is to have them speak freely. At any rate, feel free to call our office if we can provide any remedy for you. Thank you!
