Explore a remote national park less than an hour's drive from the lush resorts of greater Palm Springs. Wonder at the otherworldly plants and rock formations in a unique, and wild desert setting. THIS IS A RUGGED, 4x4 ONLY TRAIL. For those wanting a smoother experience and to see more of the park highlights please consider our Joshua Tree Driving/Van Tour. We don't recommend it for anyone with any back injuries, with any neck injuries, anyone that is pregnant or gets car sick easily. Age limit is 6 years old. This is group tour.
This activity has a 2 person requirement for the tour to run. If you are a single rider, please call first.

We had read a number of rave reviews marking Isabella as a terrific guide, and when she disembarked from her jeep and introduced herself we told her how delighted we were to learn that not only would she be our guide, but that we would be a solo couple and have her undivided attention. Isabella was suburb, She knows every tree, bolder and scenic spot in the park, she is a font of information, both ecological, and historic. She is a terrific driver, and extremely articulate, able to provide us with fascinating anecdotes while navigating the occasionally rough terrain as calmly as she might be steering a baby carriage through a garden. We had an unforgettable afternoon at Joshua Tree, and will count our journey with Isabella as a highlight of our vacation, She is a gem, and the park itself is truly a miracle of nature. Louie Armstrong nailed it, we've got a "Wonderful World" to enjoy, hope we can keep it together for our great, great grandchildren,

What a great way to see and experience this treasure of a Nationa Park! Our guide, Isabella, was friendly, kind, knowledgeable and deeply respectful of the land and its history and inhabitants. I learned a lot about Joshua Tree as well as the wider Coachella Valley. Thank you!

Our tour guide, Capt. Ron is extremely knowledgeable of Joshua Tree and all of the Palm Springs area. He took us "off the beaten path" so we could experience the power and solitude of this gigantic national park. There is so much to see and enjoy about this region of the world and our guide brought it all alive with stories and its history. He is an experienced hiker but he can watch the client's ability and pick out the perfect paths for them. We also had on our tour Anita (his trainee) who added many interesting tidbits about the region and showed concern about our welfare throughout the trip. We enjoyed every minute of the tour and would recommend it to anyone who wants an in-depth tour of this magnificent national park. We will definitely do this tour again.
