Head out on this a small group tour into Joshua Tree National Park conducted on an exciting enclosed Hummer, SUV or touring Van. Gawk at the amazing contortions of rock that create an amazing landscape of vibrant geologically created colors against the bluest sky in California!

Your expert guide will illuminate your understanding about how this landscape was created and share the stories of the Indians and settlers who lived here.

See the most iconic and most photographed places in the park as well as stop at a viewpoint where you can see all the way to Mexico!

This tour will visit the most iconic locations in the park including it's legendary giant boulders, learn about the forces of the San Andreas Fault that jolt the landscape beneath Joshua Tree itself.

What To Expect

Joshua Tree National Park

We provide you an informative and entertaining tour of Joshua Tree with one of our professional geology guides. We will take some roads where a 4x4 is required where few people will ever see. We also take you to the most photographed places in the park and take a walk in an area where you can find Indian cave drawings and even an old dam left by cowboys long past.

Cap Rock Trail

Explore with your guide enormous rock formations exposed at the Earths surface that were produced by the very forces of the San Andreas Fault miles beneath. Here rocks seem to precariously balance upon one another in a fight between gravity and subterranean forces. A 30 minute optional guided walk is made here.

Intersection Rock

This iconic rock formation is one of the most popular places in the park for rock climbers. Gawk at the climbers as they challenge the perils of the 3rd dimension.

Booked tours of San Andreas Fault and Joshua Tree National Park. We were so lucky to get Gary as our tour guide. He brought every rock, plant, tree, etc. to life. He knows so much about this region and on top of it all is a fantastic musician too. He took us off the beaten path - never saw another human being while in Joshua Tree National Park. The oasis was so interesting -- I felt like a dinosaur should come walking up on us at any moment. He has written several songs - performed with well known musicians. I will never be able to listen to "Hotel California" or "California Dreamin" and not think of this wonderful adventure. Don't take this tour unless you get "Gary" as your in for a double treat if you have him as your tour guide. A must tour if you are ever in this area of the country.

That was made even more fantastic by Gary, our guide. Outrageously knowledgeable, personable and was there for no Ofer reason than to meet the expectations of all of the visitors. If you go, demand Gary.

Your lucky you got to have Gary! He was very anxious to do tours again after taking the month of May off fro a hand-injury. Gary is now better than before and very anxious to do more tours! He is the guide Friday to Monday in the mornings.
