What To Expect
1
Joshua Tree National Park
We provide you an informative and entertaining tour of Joshua Tree with one of our professional geology guides. We will take some roads where a 4x4 is required where few people will ever see. We also take you to the most photographed places in the park and take a walk in an area where you can find Indian cave drawings and even an old dam left by cowboys long past.
2
Cap Rock Trail
Explore with your guide enormous rock formations exposed at the Earths surface that were produced by the very forces of the San Andreas Fault miles beneath. Here rocks seem to precariously balance upon one another in a fight between gravity and subterranean forces. A 30 minute optional guided walk is made here.
3
Intersection Rock
This iconic rock formation is one of the most popular places in the park for rock climbers. Gawk at the climbers as they challenge the perils of the 3rd dimension.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

What a great experience! From the time George, our driver/guide picked us up to the very end...a very informative trip to be sure. But...the thrill of riding in the Hummer on the long, bumpy ride to the top was the best. To be truthful, it was cold but many blankets were supplied (and welcome!). The scenery was stunning! A memorable trip that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

AHT helped me with a group excursion for 48 people and performed flawlessly. Everything was easy from start to finish. Booking was easy and everything was exactly as planned. Highly recommend AHT for a Joshua tree excursion

With a very friendly style and rich knowledge, tour guide Bruce provided a very comprehensive introduction to Joshua Tree park, beginning in the lower Sonoran Desert with a sparser ecosystem and gradually ascending to the Mojave Desert, where the stunning Joshua trees (yucca plants) dance in front of the dramatic backdrop of huge monzogranite boulders, which emerged over centuries of climatic change and tectonic pressure into marvelous otherworldly formations as though giant children had left their building blocks. Bruce paced the tour well, led us on brief hikes, provided many photo opportunies, and was a fund of information, such as the wind turbine farms near Palm Springs. I also appreciated that Adventure Hummer Tours accommodated me on this tour after the one I had originally signed up for was cancelled and the pick-up and drop-off was smooth.
