This was an even better adventure than we had imagined. The helicopter flight was a lot of fun, our pilot took us over and past the glacier in a big circle. We then landed right on the glacier and were free to walk around and carefully explore it. We drank some fresh glacier water. The pilot also pointed out some mountain goats that I would have never spotted. All in all a wonderful experience and definitely worth the cost.

Amazing experience flying over Juneau, the bay, and the forest on our way to the Hubbard Glacier last July 18, 2022. To see the vast expanse of ice sheets and the long river of ice, that is the Hubbard Glacier from the air is beyond description. What is more spectacular is when we trekked thru the icy surface of the glacier. I have to complement Coastal Helicopter Tour for expert safety talks and provide us with Traction Cleats Overshoes for trekking on the glacier's icy surface safely. I would like to thank our very able and kind glacier guide, our very able Helicopter pilot Ms. Jessica. She was so nice and informative and was so gracious to take our family photos while on the glacier's icy surface. The experience of the Helicopter tour was worth the price.

Highlight of our Alaska adventure! We flew up the Herbert glacier with Jessica and got to explore the ice field. Well run operation - they picked us up and shuttled us to the airfield. Facility was nice - well run check in process. Gave us some gear - micro-spike boots etc. Very safety conscious - briefing, escorts to/from the helicopters etc. Our pilot Jessica was great - in addition to being a v capable pilot she knew a lot about the area and about glaciers. We saw a bald eagle in the air on the return flight. We were supposed to do the combo flight/dog sled tour but the dog sled camp shut down early due to no snow. They contacted us, gave us the choice of a refund or proceed w the flight (and a partial refund) - all. wry well handled. Very very cool activity and a well run operation.
