Overview

Our general tour! Meet our Dock Rep at your cruise ship dock and board our courtesy shuttle. Enjoy a scenic ride to the Auke Bay boat harbor and return (about 25 minutes each way). A complimentary stop at the Brotherhood Bridge for a view of the Mendenhall Glacier is available before or after each tour depending on that day's schedule and weather. Enjoy the difference of a personalized tour! About 4 hours and 15 minutes. This 4 hour and 15 minute tour includes approximately 1 hour of round trip transfer time, 3 hours of whale watching/sightseeing cruise, walking on the dock to the boat, and bathroom breaks.

We took Harv and Marv as a shore excursion from our Alaskan cruise. The meeting point was easy to find and the trip was fabulous. We did the outback experience for 18 guests but we only had 9 of us on board. The boat was terrific as we could go out front and back to see whales. We had smooth sailing and both the captain and the guide were outstanding!!! They had snacks and water for us too!!! We saw Orcas and humpbacks up so much closer than on the cruise ship!! Would highly recommend as the was probably one of the best excursions we have ever had!!!

Captain Graham was an excellent guide on August 3 for our 6 person outback experience tour. We saw 10 different humpbacks over the course of our time on the water. The viewing was excellent, and Capt. Graham was very personable. You could tell he truly cared about our experience while caring deeply for the marine life we saw. What a beautiful day we had- I would recommend highly!

Mother nature was sure on our side on our excursion day. Calm waters, warm breeze, and great company( 7 peeps total). Mickey, our Captain was very knowledgable about the topography of the surrounding area, and answered any questions we had about the whales that we could possibly come up with, and was a lot of fun. In total we saw 9 whales doing their thing. As cruisers the transport by Nicole from the Port to the Marina and John who finished our day with a scenic tour back to Port made our day memorable. Do this tour, cheaper and more personal than booking from your cruise ship
