Overview

Our general tour! Meet our Dock Rep at your cruise ship dock and board our courtesy shuttle. Enjoy a scenic ride to the Auke Bay boat harbor and return (about 25 minutes each way). A complimentary stop at the Brotherhood Bridge for a view of the Mendenhall Glacier is available before or after each tour depending on that day's schedule and weather. Enjoy the difference of a personalized tour! About 4 hours and 15 minutes. This 4 hour and 15 minute tour includes approximately 1 hour of round trip transfer time, 3 hours of whale watching/sightseeing cruise, walking on the dock to the boat, and bathroom breaks.

Captain John and assistant Ian were great on this 13-person boat in Auke Bay. Saw 5 whales, including a mother and calf, and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Great sunny weather, with a little chop but not bad -- and the bouncy suspension seats were a treat when motoring fast over the waves! Highly recommend this outfit -- great alternative to the cruise ship excursions.

Had an AMAZING 6-person tour w/Captain Graham today. He was great-very knowledgable. Orcas to start it off! Then whales, even a 7 month old w/his mom (Bunson & Flame respectively). Then sea lions. Beautiful scenery. SO glad we went w/Harv & Marv. Drivers were top notch too. Definitely a MUST DO!

Our trip started out from our cruise ship raining sideways but that wasn't going to keep us from seeing a whale. Once we arrived at our boat, the sun came thru the clouds and was sunny the entire 3 hours on the water. Our first sighting was 8 orcas playing in the water with one that even breached. They even came close to our boat. Next were the sea lions sunbathing on the rocks. Russel, our guide, then took us to see the whale he promised. HE DELIVERED. We watched for nearly 45 minutes as the whale lazilly came up and down in the water with the final act of of showing his tail as he submerged. Once back on land, the rain came again but not once did we get wet. GREAT TRIP!!
