3 Hours on the water turned into maybe 2.5 hours. We did see whales and dolphins. We saw a sea lion and the captain pointed it out and sped past so fast no one could take a picture. It was like he was late for dinner. If you count the travel time the total tour was over 3 hours. We did stop / slow to take some pictures of bald eagles. The captain did a fantastic job of positioning the boat in the right spot for whales. We usually had better views than other boats. The stop at Mendenhal Glacier was so far off that while interesting, left me wanting more.

We had a great experience with Captain John and our naturalist Nicole. We got lucky and saw a lot of humpbacks very close to our boat. We only had around 8 people in our group (on a boat that fits 13) so it was easy to move around and see everything. John and Nicole knew a lot about the whales and were happy to answer all of our questions. They even knew the names and habits of the whales which made it even more fun. Thanks for a great trip!

We went out and saw many hump backs on an 18 passenger boat and had many photo ops. The crew was be informative and friendly, and then when we were on the way back at the end of the tour the boat captain got a call from one of his buddies that Orcas were in the area he went straight over to another cove to give us a great view of a pod of Orcas..a real rare treet. Thanks
