Kauai's Waimea Canyon and South Side Private Guided Tour

[FOR UP TO 6 PASSENGERS, private tour]
This tour starts by heading directly to the Waimea Canyon on the west side. On the way there, we will stop to stretch our legs and take a look at the Hanapepe Valley overlook. At Waimea town, we will begin our ascent into the canyon. We will stop at about 1800 feet for our first view, stop at a miniature waterfall for pictures, take a short walk on a nature trail with native Hawaiian plants where you can stand at the very edge of the canyon, and then on to the main canyon viewing area. From there we will head to the top stopping to see the Waipo'o Falls on the way. At the very top we will view two different vantage points of the Kalalau Valley from 4700 feet down to the ocean. On the way back down, listen to a historical tale about the Kalalau Valley. Lunch. Then to the south side for Spouting Horn, Poipu Beach (monk seals) and a walk to see the Makauwahi Sinkhole Cave in Mahaulepu State Park.

Recently during a visit to Kauai, we took a private guided tour of the hot-spots on the island. Prior to our arrival on the island, we researched guides on the Internet for top-rated tour guides. One company kept popping-up with fantastic reviews, no matter which site was providing the reviews (Google, Yelp, Facebook, etc.). This company is located and founded in Kauai and is named Noh’s Ark. Noah’s Ark tours are conducted by the owner, Noah. Noah uses a Toyota Minivan. The van is fantastic with plenty of room. There was six on our tour and we never felt cramped in the van. What’s great about Noah’s tour is that he will customize your tour to what you want to see. Or you can leave it all in Noah’s hands for what to see in Kauai. I can honestly say that Noah lived up to all his good reviews on the Internet. Noah is a fantastic guide. He has all the qualities you want in a good tour guide. He is knowledgeable about the area; he is blessed with the gift of gab, and he is a schoolteacher. What more could you want in a tour guide? Not only does he know the history of Kauai like a history teacher, but he also has plenty of stories about his personal experiences on the island. It’s a great combination of information and makes your day seem like you’re hanging out with one of your local island buddies. We had a great time with Noah during out tour of Kuai. Confident you will too! We all highly recommend Noah’s Ark if you’re on Kauai looking for a fun day of sightseeing.
