What To Expect

Scorton Creek

The Cape Cod Explorer tour operates exclusively in the Game Creek Conservation land. It is a beautiful tidal flat called Scorton Creek that is fed from Cape Cod Bay and is part of the Great Marsh eco-system. There is a amazing amount of bird activity, wildlife, and overall nature to view throughout our tour. This area consists of salt water, brackish water, and fresh water so the variation of plant and wildlife is astounding!

Excellent experience while visiting Cape Cod. My husband, 9 yo daughter and I all loved kayaking in the marsh. Beautiful scenery, many birds and crabs along the way, everyone had a great time. Suggest bringing a plastic bag or dry bag for phone/car key. Also definitely Recommend requesting a tandem kayak if doing this with kids, it was windy, some portions were challenging. Recommend lunch at Riverside Cafe afterwards, two minute drive away.
