Fairweather Kayaks is based in one of the most beautiful areas in southeast Alaska. A little town called Hoonah, Alaska. Not only do you feel like its home when you get here. The people here make it feel like home. It's a hard place to leave after you visit.

Fairweather Kayaks main goal is to show you an experience that when your outing is done. Not only will you walk away happy and relaxed from being out on the water. Our goal is to show you such a good time you'll be thinking about your next visit before you even leave.

Fairweather Kayaks takes you into calm waters where the kayaking experience isnt too difficult and theres always a chance to see wildlife.

What To Expect

Hoonah

We'll leave the town of Hoonah and we'll travel by an old logging camp. After that we'll get out at a place us locals call Long Island.

Our guide was very friendly. It was relaxing and enjoyable. We saw jelly fish, a bunch of bald eagles, salmon, deer. We would do this again and recommend it highly. The town was great and people were friendly.

This was such a fun excursion! They made it so convenient for us, easy to find, comfortable and safe. They even had seat ponchos that we could wear to stay dry since it was pretty drizzly. We were out on the water for a long time, totally worth the money! It was just beautiful!

Dave, Terry & Cody were fabulous! Very patient with me as a 1st time kayaker. The excursion was so beautiful & peaceful & Dave gave us information on the area. I highly recommend this excursion!!
