In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Loved it when the guy in the water from another group began explaining all about the species and how to identify the females from the males. One ray even had a paralyzed cephalic lobe which was interesting. There were more than 6 mante ray I could see at one time.

One of the coolest most memorable experiences you’ll ever have. Extremely awesome, can’t even explain it. I’d definitely do this multiple times and recommend to everyone. Crew was awesome, manta rays were even more awesome. It was raining while we went and it was still amazing. You won’t be sorry you booked this.
