In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Amazing experience!!! The crew was awesome!! They provided wetsuits with sizes for my 4 year old up to size 3X, snorkels and masks (but they let you use our own gear), and snacks at the end. The swimmer in the water, Mike, was extremely helpful with my four year old who was super excited but not great at snorkeling. He opted to take his snorkel out of his mouth and just put his face in the water to see for a few seconds and then lift his head up to breathe. Mike told him the names of the Manta Rays and what they are and how big their throats were and honestly kept him entertained throughout the whole experience without annoying the other couple!!! He was amazing!! The boat was a RHIB which was awesome, the group is only 6 max so all the reviews saying other people scare the rays are irrelevant with this group because the diver will make them stop, you hold onto a surfboard the whole time so their isn’t much swimming involved, and the boat stays close. I READ THE REVIEWS AND WEBSITES OF EVERY MANTA RAY TOUR ON THE ISLAND AND THIS TOUR WAS THE BEST!!!

SO AWESOME. We were worried about a southern swell and that the weather hadn't been the best during the day, but it still ended up being an incredible experience. We did the 8:20PM time slot. Saw about 5-6 manta rays - they come right up to you!! I also liked that this tour company does a 6 person boat - where as the other companies pack you in like cattle! Also, shout out to Ashlie with the front office, she was a great help/super friendly!
