In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

I have never done any snorkeling before and this was an amazing introduction to it. Very easygoing and helpful tips from the guides made this a lovely experience. The Manta Ray’s are an absolutely amazing creature who love showing what they do in their natural environment. This tour was professional and fun from top to bottom!

This was an amazing experience, we saw a ton of rays and everyone was super helpful and explained who the rays were and how they told them apart. They were also mindful of the rays and reminded everyone the importance of not touching them to keep them safe, which I appreciated. Truly one of the coolest experiences I have ever had, top of the list of Big Island experiences!
