In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Don’t always judge a book by its cover. This may not be the largest company and though they work out of a mobile site, ( a van), they really provide a quality service. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly young man, who was helpful and informative. Before we even touched the boat, we knew exactly what to do, and what to expect. We were provided a quality wet suit and snorkeling gear, and just had to wait for the boat. The trip was running a bit late, as were some other guests, but it was not an inconvenience. Eli was great in the water, making sure that each guest was comfortable and safe. We did not have many Manta Ray, approximately 3 or 4, but they were fantastic to view and the tour time was just right. We would recommend taking anti-nausea medication, as the rolling motion of the waves and static viewing can cause some to feel queasy. My wife and I took meds and we were fine. My son did not and he felt nauseous. Overall, a great trip and highly recommended

We were a group of 3 friends. 1 in our party was inexperienced and had a lot of anxiety about snorkeling, snorkeling @ night, etc. Eli, our guide in the water, was about to get her calm and floating and able to enjoy the mantas. The mantas are spectacular and angelic swimming through the ocean. It is an amazing adventure and the outfitters were so nice and efficient. Eli was very knowledgeable and was a great guide. This is a great outfitter to go out with.
