In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

We spent 2 weeks on 4 islands, and this tour was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip! It was an AMAZING experience, a little scary at first because the rays get very close to you ... just stay perfectly still, and enjoy the beauty of these graceful creatures! If you are considering this, absolutely GO FOR IT. It's an unbelievable and indescribable experience that we have been telling everyone about! This is a small group and the guides are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We went early September and did not need the wet suits - the water was not cold. Quick ride from the harbor. A MUST DO!!!

Fun and friendly crew. Fantastic experience, there were a lot of Manta Ray's to be seen. Not for little children, or people with any difficulty walking. There are other companies that offer assistance with those. Overall this was very fun.

My husband and I would absolutely do this tour again! The guides were friendly, helpful and answered any questions our group had. The experience itself was magical. So amazing seeing these giant gentle creatures swimming just inches from you! This was definitely one of the most memorable things we did on the island!! I highly recommend it!
