In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Really fantastic experience. We saw so many rays up close and also had a visit from a pod of dolphins! The team were all great - friendly, informative and really knowledgeable about the marine life we saw. We rented a GoPro there and caught some amazing footage. Thank you all for such a great memorable experience!

This was an unforgettable experience and a must do. Well organized and easy. Park along the dark street in front of the outrigger hotel. Don't park in the trailer parking. Short walk to truck at end. Greeted by friendly staff (Alisha) went through the instructions. She got us all dry wetsuits, I was worried that I would have to put on a wet one someone else used earlier that night. Then a short boat ride to the site. I think that is much better then some of the other companies that mention a 30 minute boat ride. Who wants that late at night, especially on the ride back when you are wet. I knew we would see the mantra rays up close, but I didn't know that close. They do these summersaults right under the board you hold onto, less then an inch away. We must have been lucky because we saw 6 mantra rays. Truly beautiful. My 12 year old son asked many questions and our guide (Dylan I think) in the water patiently answered each one. Don't miss this while you are in the island. Only wish I had booked it earlier so I could have gotten the $79 rate, I paid much more
