My daughters (19 & 21) did the night Manta Ray snorkel. They LOVED it and said it was MAGICAL. It was a unique opportunity when on the Big Island. Cheyenne took care of them on land with their snorkel gear and wet suits prepping them and making sure everyone was very clear about NOT touching the Manta Rays and how it can break down their protective layers making them more susceptible to diseases;((. They did the 10:20 pm snorkel and it was pouring down rain. Luckily this didnā€™t take away from the experience. One of my daughters suffered a bit from motion sickness from the short boat ride but still was in awe of the graceful acrobatic Manta Rays! Wish my husband and I had been brave enough to join them! I was happy we picked this smaller company as there was only 5 or 6 on the trip as opposed to the bigger groups I saw there.

Thank you for sharing. I'm please to hear that your daughters were able to get out and experience snorkeling with the mantas... even if it was in the rain. Sometimes this can be a really cool sensation. As cold raindrops fall from the air and hit your skin, you realize that the ocean is actually warmer than the rain and to see the mantas...well your going to get wet either way. Hopefully we will have the chance to have you and your husband join us in the future. Mahalo for the review and best wishes. Aloha.

The crew was amazing and very knowledgeable about the Manta Ray. They answered every question that was asked by the group. This was a nice tour since there were only 6 people total on the snorkel. Onto the Manta Ray which are amazing creatures and an adventure you shouldnā€™t pass on.
