In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

The Manta Rays are amazing to watch. They are so graceful and gentle! The boat captain and crew are very friendly and professional. The light board attendant/guide was very knowledgeable and told interesting facts and stories. The night we were out we saw rays 95% of the time we were snorkeling. We had a wonderful time watching the Rays!

Awesome! Crew was great - supplied everything we needed. They also were very knowledgeable about the species and shared interesting information about the manta rays with us. It was a small group and our family had a wonderful experience. We went late in the evening and saw several huge rays, who seemed to put on a show for us, and even came so close that these beautiful, gentle giants sometimes brushed up along side. It was a hit with our two teens especially, and it really was amazing! Thank you!

The staff was very helpful professional and punctual. The snorkeling time in the water was just right, not too long that you start getting bored or tired, not too short that you don’t feel your money’s worth. I recommend this experience with this company to anyone visiting the Big island!
