In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

The small group was super nice. Other trips cost more and had two to three times the people. Cheyenne, Sam, and Dillon were great. We had a amazing time, worth every penny.

Our family of 4 ( two teens) will never forget this awesome tiur. They only take 6 people at a time ( we try to avoid the herded tours where the extra time is spent trying to get everyone in and out of the water and situated) so this was perfect for us. Boat ride out was just 5 minutes - some larger boats had 15-20 minute rides each way, again, the added time is spent in the boat so we really really liked going with this specific tour. At first, the Mantas were nowhere to be found, not by the other nearby tours either. I was really impressed with how the guides between all of the groups and companies worked together to attract the mantas with their lights. They had strategic ways that when boosted with lights from other groups, it really lit the water up and drew in the needed plankton. Everyone seemed to know each other and when our group saw the first two mantas, our guide let the others know and they moved their groups closer which was really neat to see the long chain of observers and the mantas putting on a beautiful display for everyone.

The whole staff, from receiving wet suits, to the boat captain, to the water guide, were exceptional and so nice. We had 3 children, ages 4-8, that we brought and they were all so patient and kind to them. Easy instructions to follow and a wonderful experience. 100% worth the money! We will recommend to friends who visit!
