In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Very memorable and fun trip. The guides had experience with the animals and guests. We were well taken care of and recommend these wonderful people to guide u to a super trip. Well worth the money. I cant believe that this knowledgeable guide can stay in the water all night relaying all the nature details. Krill, the sex of animals and identifying all the individuals , I was amazed. Wow

All of the crew were very nice and helpful. They made sure everyone was safe and had proper equipment. The manta rays were so beautiful and came up so close to us. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the mantas and other sea life. Would 10/10 recommend.

Everything went as expected and the experience was exceptional. They called us a little early to see if we were available to start earlier. It was just us and one other couple and both parties were available so we got an early start which was nice. The guide in the water knew a lot about mantas and was great company. He even knew some of the mantas by name. It is a popular site so there were other groups nearby but I liked that our group was pretty small. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The mantas had little regard for our personal space which made for an incredible show.
