In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

once in a lifetime experience! my husband was a bit hesitant and ended up loving it! appreciated the small group experience-had everything we needed (a bit bare bones) saw many manta rays during our 30 minutes and it was thrilling. we didn't rent a go pro and glad we just enjoyed the experience.

Incredible experience!! This company is fantastic. First, they limit the group to 6 people. That, alone, is why we booked with them… but only the start of why we will now ONLY book with them! They called us when there was an earlier opening (we had booked the latest tour… but we’re thrilled to be able to go earlier). We had a bit of trouble getting there (only because my hub didn’t realize there are 2 boat harbors in Kona area, so we went to the wrong one)…. When we were not at check-in they called us and we’re so nice about us not yet being there (we did still make it on time). Very thorough with instructions, very clear about expectations, and very nice and friendly. Best of all… we saw mantas from the time we arrived til when we left!! Amazing activity!! Our water-guide was knowledgeable offering good information and answering every question. Truly incredible, start to finish. Highly recommend!!
