In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

This was such a fun experience! Would definitely recommend to anyone! They keep groups small so it felt much more personable. Everyone who worked with us was very friendly.

This company canceled on my family 4 hours before our scheduled Manta Ray night snorkel. Said they overbooked us. We had paid for this activity 5 weeks in advance and received confirmation number. With such a short notice, we could not find any other availability with tour other company. What a terrible company!!!!

Aloha John, We are extremely sorry for the situation that transpired and understand the frustration and inconvenience that took place. I reached out to you as soon as the error was discovered and worked quickly to get you and your family booked with another company for the following night (not easy to do during the Spring Break/Easter Holiday). I have sent you a private message offering some clarification and resolution that I hope you will find valid while confirming that you have been fully refunded. I was under the impression the last time we spoke, that you were in good spirits with getting to go out with another company and feel that I have done everything in my power to make this right for you and your family. I genuinely hope that you have a great time out on another boat and of course with the mantas. If I can be of further assistance please don't hesitate to ask. Sincerely, Ashlie For those reading a private tour was booked 7 weeks ahead of this reservation through one system while other "regular seats" were booked on top of the private tour through another. The two systems are not integrated identically so the private tour was overlooked and overbooked. We are in discussion and looking at ways to better integrate the 2 booking systems together to prevent this issue from happening again.
