In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Great experience! Around 30 mins in the water. Plenty of time to see it all. Vendor was friendly and diligent in cleaning.

This was so awesome! You may be a little nervous like I was but once you see the first manta they are amazing and you’ll be happy! They are such beautiful creatures and so peaceful to watch. You may get motion sickness in the water because the waves are taking you up and down and because you have to ride a boat to get out there. They have tea and hot cocoa for when you may get sick or cold. Towards the end when you are relaxed you may get cold but the hot cocoa warms you back up. Seriously you should go! It was so fun!
