In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

It was a great experience ! It’s a must while on big island ! The guides were very informative and the rays came so close that they brushed us ! The group was small so it was perfect !

Seeing the Mantas up close (so close they're sometimes touching you) is a great experience. They're bigger than you'd expect, but very graceful and beautiful. It's worth it to be able to see them close. But the experience is the same for all of the tours. You take a short ride out, get into the water for about 30 minutes, where you'll probably see rays for about 10-15 of those (they'll have to continue to move you around to find them) and then you go back in. It's not a cruise or party boat. Strictly a chance to get close to the Rays. So if that's what you want, this tour will deliver that.

Small group, only us and one other family. Quick five minute boat ride to the mantas. Had 3-5+ mantas within an inch of us the entire time. Very easy snorkeling. We all loved it! Highly recommend this company.
