In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

An amazing night with the manta rays. Had up to 5 swimming just below us. An incredible and unforgettable experience!

The crew was great and the experience was unreal! We had up to 5 manta rays below us at one time! I would definitely book with hawaii island and ocean tours again. They were great to work with and very helpful when some in our group got a little nervous. Well worth it!

We snorkeled with the Manta Rays. As a couple who has been there and done it all, this was truly unique and amazing. Loved it thoroughly. Hawaii Island & Ocean Tours went the extra step with many extras that I didn’t see other tour companies doing for their guests. Hot beverages, snacks, wetsuits, etc.
