In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Hanging on the surfboard (one of the smaller ones that the various tour operators provided) in the undulating waves made me nauseous and was very hard on shoulders. We got to see several Mantas very close. However, once this happened we stayed for another half hour. In reality, 30 minutes in the water is plenty!

So glad we went with this company. Everything was perfect from the booking to the interaction with the staff and our time on the water. The crew was highly knowledgeable and made our experience very chill and fun. We had a small group (6) and saw lots of Manta Rays. We couldn’t believe how close they got to us! It was a bucket list check for us and our daughter. Would highly recommend this company!
