In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

My wife was nervous and first said no when I mentioned this but it was great, even another person in our group was petrified and the crew helped her thru it. Great time and guide was knowledgeable and found us manta rays when other tours couldn’t

They have small group which is better than other company when they have bunch of ppl. There were 6 of us, the guide make sure the manta ray is always under us, he needs to drag all of us to follow the manta ray. After we back to ground, the guy was so nicely to make everyone's hot cocoa, I would recommend this company to my friends in the future.

Rain and high winds caused our tour to be cancelled last minute for safety reasons. The staff re-scheduled a private trip the next day to accommodate the three of us. Excellent company and an awesome experience watching the big Manta rays feeding at night. A must see.
